The Nigerian Defence Academy has announced the names of successful candidates from the screening test held on Saturday, 14 June 2025. Those who passed will now move to the next stage — the interview with the Armed Forces Selection Board (AFSB).

This interview will take place at the NDA Ribadu Campus in Kaduna. It starts on Saturday, 28 June and ends Saturday, 16 August 2025. But not everyone will show up at once. The NDA has split the interview into two groups, depending on your state.

Interview Dates and Batches

Batch 1

Interview period: Saturday 28 June – Friday 18 July 2025

Candidates from the following states should report during this time:

Important:

If you’re in Batch 1 and fail to show up on 28 June, you’re out. Same goes for Batch 2 if you miss 19 July. Also, if you’re in Batch 2, don’t appear at the NDA before 19 July. Doing so will get you disqualified.

What To Expect During the Screening

It’s not just a sit-down chat. The AFSB interview includes:

Checking your original documents

Medical and physical fitness tests

Group and solo obstacle tasks

A 3.2 km race

Fail any part of this and you’re out of the running. Only those who pass everything can continue with the interview process.

Must-Have Documents

Bring the originals and two photocopies of each:

JAMB UTME Registration Slip (2025)

NDA Screening Test Admission Card and Acknowledgement Form

YOU MIGHT LIKE: Nigerian Communications Commission and Digital Bridge Institute Train 100 Federal Polytechnic Oko Staff on Data Analysis, Cyber Security and Emerging Technologies

Primary and secondary school certificates and results

Birth Certificate (preferred) or Age Declaration

State/Local Government Indigene Letter signed by the SSG or LGA Chairman

(Alternatively, a senior military officer from your state can issue this, but they must add their rank, unit, contact details and stamp)

Letter of Consent from your parent or guardian

Note: Download the consent and attestation forms from the NDA website or application portal. No forms, no interview. If any document looks tampered with, you’ll be disqualified.

Other Items To Pack

You’ll be staying for a while, so come prepared. Here’s your checklist:

Writing materials

Three blue shorts and three white round-neck T-shirts

One pair of white trainers and three pairs of white socks

Toiletries

₦3,500 for result confirmation (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/NBAIS/JAMB)

Scratch cards for checking your WAEC/NECO results online

Four coloured passport photos

A second copy of the Postcard Photograph used during the NDA test

Transport money to and from Kaduna

Meals and lodging will be provided while you’re at NDA."
