The National Association of NELFUND Beneficiaries (NANB) has issued a 48-hour ultimatum to the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) for the disbursement of September and October monthly upkeep funds.

In a letter addressed to NELFUND management and related agencies, NANB expressed frustration over the delays, which it claims have negatively impacted students' financial stability and academic performance.

NANB, representing beneficiaries across major Nigerian institutions, has warned that failure to meet this deadline by 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, will result in an indefinite strike by beneficiaries. This action, NANB stated, will include halting lectures across affiliated institutions until the allowances are fully disbursed.
