Nigerian Army University Biu VC Flags Off NEDC One-Week Teachers' Training Workshop

The Vice Chancellor of the Nigerian Army University Biu (NAUB), Professor Bala Lawan Buratai, has declared open a one-week capacity-building training workshop for teachers and school administrators from Borno Southern Senatorial Zone.

The workshop, organized by the North East Development Commission (NEDC) in collaboration with Limo Holdings Nigerian Ltd, aims to enhance the pedagogical and administrative competencies of education professionals through modern approaches rooted in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM).

Professor Buratai commended the NEDC for its commitment to revitalizing education in the North East and emphasized the critical role of teachers in national development. He encouraged participants to take full advantage of the opportunity, stressing that STEAM education is central to addressing today's global challenges.

The workshop features expert facilitators and aims to empower teachers with innovative classroom strategies and modern educational demands. The initiative is part of the NEDC's efforts to rebuild and improve the education sector in the North East region.
