Mahir Ahmad Atif, a 200L student from the Information Systems Department, transformed a simple conversation into a defining career opportunity. Engaging with Mr. Kingsley Ogirri, Head of HR at ProvidusBank, Mahir’s initiative and confidence led to an interview the following day and ultimately a coveted internship in ProvidusBank’s IT Department.

Reflecting on his experience, Mahir shared:
"When the Career Services Department announced Nile University’s Career Fair, I saw an opportunity to take initiative and connect with industry professionals. After meeting Mr. Kingsley and confidently sharing my passion for IT, I was invited for an interview the very next day, an encounter that led to an internship offer. At ProvidusBank, I worked alongside seasoned professionals who helped me bridge classroom theory with real-world applications in IT systems, digital banking, and cybersecurity. The experience not only enhanced my technical skills but also strengthened my confidence and problem-solving abilities."
