NSUK Registrar Dr. Bala I. Ahmed Honored with Prestigious Peace Award

The Registrar of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Dr. Bala I. Ahmed II, has been presented with a prestigious Peace Award by the Global Alliance for Peace and Unity, Abuja. The award ceremony took place during a courtesy visit by the organization's delegation to the Registrar's office.

The award recognizes Dr. Ahmed's efforts in fostering peaceful coexistence within the university community and Nasarawa State. The Global Alliance for Peace and Unity works to promote harmony and inclusivity, particularly in Northern Nigeria.

The delegation commended Dr. Ahmed for promoting unity within the university's management and praised the state's governor for his commitment to peace. The Vice-Chancellor of NSUK was also acknowledged for her transformative leadership.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Ahmed emphasized that peace is the bedrock of sustainable development and highlighted NSUK's intentional efforts toward creating a diverse and inclusive environment.
