NSUK VC Appoints Associate Prof. Usman Alhaji Yusuf as Acting Director of IGDS

The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Prof. Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, has approved the appointment of Associate Professor Usman Alhaji Yusuf of the Department of Sociology as Acting Director, Institute of Governance and Development Studies (IGDS).
The appointment takes effect from September 25, 2026, for an initial period of one year, ending September 24, 2027.
This was contained in a letter signed by the Registrar of the University, Dr. Bala I. Ahmed II, MNIM, FCAI, FCIM, conveying the approval of the Vice-Chancellor.
As Acting Director, Associate Prof. Yusuf is expected to provide effective administrative and academic leadership to strengthen the Institute and enhance the University's academic policies and programmes.
He will be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor in the discharge of his duties.
The University Management congratulated Associate Prof. Yusuf on his appointment and wished him a successful tenure.
