NSUK Welcomes New EU Ambassador to Nigeria, Seeks Institutional Support

In a very fulfilling engagement between Nasarawa State University, Keffi, and the European Union Delegation to Nigeria and West Africa, the Vice-Chancellor of NSUK Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman Fellow: UNESCO, ACLS, FIIFPN, welcomed His Excellency, Ambassador Gautier Mignot to Nigeria on his new tour of duty.

 

The Vice-Chancellor and other top management staff of the University who were on a courtesy/advocacy visit sought the institutional support of the Delegation in the development of the Brunon Holyst Institute of European Studies, the first of its type in Africa.

Ambassador Mignot, in his remarks, expressed his delight in supporting the University, and at the same time, commending the efforts of the Vice-Chancellor for coming up with the idea of a Centre for European Studies .

Joining the EU Ambassador to interact on issues arising from the growing relationship between the EU  Delegation and NSUK was Mrs Leila Mathieu, who is in charge of educational matters at the Delegation.
