The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved 14 new academic programmes for Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE), Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt.

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved 14 new academic programmes for Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE), Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt.

The approval, conveyed by the Acting Executive Secretary of NUC, Mallam Chris J. Maiyaki, in a letter signed by the Acting Director of Academic Planning, Abubakar M. Girel, allows the programmes to commence in the 2024/2025 academic session.

These full-time undergraduate and postgraduate programmes will be hosted at the university's main campus. The approval follows a resource assessment visit by NUC experts.
