Ogun State government has announced the official holiday break for the First Term of the 2025/2026 academic session.

The announcement was made by the Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in a press release signed by the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Prof. Abayomi A. Arigbabu.

According to the Ministry, all public and private primary and secondary schools, as well as Government Technical Colleges across the state, are to proceed on holiday from Monday, 15 December 2025, to Friday, 2 January 2026.

Academic activities are scheduled to resume in all schools on Monday, 5 January 2026.

The Ministry also advised parents and guardians to pay close attention to the safety, welfare, and well-being of their children and wards throughout the holiday period.
