OSPOLY Implements Restriction on Student Vehicular Movement
Osun State Polytechnic, Iree has imposed a ban on student vehicular movement on campus from 8 am to 2:30 pm daily. This decision aims to address safety concerns following incidents of reckless driving.
In a bid to enhance safety on campus, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has introduced a new directive restricting student vehicular movement. Effective immediately, students are prohibited from driving cars or motorcycles on campus between 8 am and 2:30 pm daily. This measure follows reports of reckless driving by some students, posing a danger to the campus community.
The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. A.A.S. Olatunji, emphasized that any student found violating this directive will have their vehicle impounded by security personnel. This policy aims to protect both drivers and pedestrians, ensuring a safer environment for all.
Students are urged to comply with this directive for their own safety and the well-being of others on campus.
