Osun State Polytechnic, Iree Set for Combined 8th Convocation Ceremony

The management of Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY), Iree, has announced the schedule for its combined 8th Convocation Ceremony, peaking on Thursday, March 26, 2026.

In a statement released by the Registrar, Mr. Abiodun Oloyede, the institution outlined a week-long series of events to celebrate the graduands and the polytechnic’s milestones.

Friday, March 20: Pre-Convocation Press Conference addressed by the Rector, Comrade Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi (10:00 a.m. at ETF Hall), followed by a Special Jumat Service at the Institution’s Mosque (2:00 p.m.).

Tuesday, March 24: Novelty Football Match between staff and alumni members.

Wednesday, March 25: Convocation Lecture titled to be delivered by Professor Yakibi Ayodele Afolabi of FUOYE, under the chairmanship of Professor Taiwo Olufemi Asaolu, VC of University of Ilesa.

Wednesday Evening: Rector’s Cocktail Party at the Staff Club (6:00 p.m.).

Thursday, March 26 (Grand Finale): Award of Prizes, Diplomas, and Certificates at the Institution’s Pavilion (10:00 a.m.).

Notice to Graduands

The Registrar advised all graduands to pay a convocation fee of N5,000 at the Bursary Department. Collection of convocation packages will commence on Friday, March 20, 2026, at the Academic Affairs Unit upon presentation of proof of payment.

The Rector, Comrade Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi, described the upcoming event as an "epoch-making ceremony" and invited the public and the academic community to join in the celebrations.
