President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Academic Credentials and Election History Scrutinized

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's academic credentials and election history have been subject to scrutiny.

Tinubu claims to have graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Chicago State University (CSU) in 1979, with a cumulative GPA of 3.54 and was awarded "summa cum laude".

However, questions have been raised about the authenticity of his academic records. CSU confirmed Tinubu's attendance and graduation, but noted that federal law limits disclosure of student records without consent or a court order. Additionally, the College of Business at CSU wasn't accredited until 2006, nearly 30 years after Tinubu claimed to have received his degree.

Tinubu's election history has also been complex, with various challenges and controversies. While he has held significant offices, including Governor of Lagos State and President of Nigeria, claims that he has never lost an election since joining politics in 1992 may not be entirely accurate.
