Ajayi Crowther University (ACU), Oyo, is set to host its 30th Inaugural Lecture, to be delivered by Professor Ayoku Akanni Ojedokun, a distinguished Professor of Library and Information Science in the Department of Library and Information Science, Faculty of Social Sciences.
The lecture, titled "From Access to Empowerment: Navigating the Digital Age," is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Crowther Hall, Ajayi Crowther University.
Professor Ojedokun is expected to examine the challenges and opportunities associated with navigating the digital age, with the lecture focusing on the critical transition from simply having access to information to achieving meaningful empowerment in an increasingly digital world.
The event will be chaired by the Vice-Chancellor of Ajayi Crowther University, Professor Ebunoluwa Oduwole.
