RSU to Host Retirement Public Lecture in Honour of Distinguished Engineering Scholar
The Rivers State University (RSU), Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, has announced plans to host a Retirement Public Lecture in honour of one of its eminent academics, Prof. Felix Joseph Kio Ideriah, a Professor of Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer.

The Rivers State University (RSU), Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, has announced plans to host a Retirement Public Lecture in honour of one of its eminent academics, Prof. Felix Joseph Kio Ideriah, a Professor of Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer.
The event is scheduled to take place on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM, in the Senate Chamber, Dr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike Senate Building. Prof. Ideriah will deliver a lecture titled “Reflections on Engineering Solutions for Nation Building.”
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Isaac Zeb-Obipi, on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, staff, and students, extends a warm invitation to the university community and the general public to attend the event and celebrate Prof. Ideriah’s illustrious academic career.
