TASFUED Vice-Chancellor Inspects Renovated Facilities Ahead of New Academic Session

The Vice-Chancellor of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASFUED), Prof. Samuel Oladipo, has reaffirmed the institution's readiness for the 2026/2027 academic session following an inspection of newly renovated academic facilities across the University.

Prof. Oladipo assured students, parents, and other stakeholders that the University is fully prepared to welcome both returning and newly admitted students to an academic year focused on excellence, innovation, leadership, and growth.

The inspection tour, conducted by the University's Management, formed part of preparations for the new academic session and was aimed at assessing the quality and completion of renovation projects funded under the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) 2025 Project Maintenance Intervention.

According to the Vice-Chancellor, the exercise was intended to ensure that the completed projects meet the University's standards and contribute to a more conducive environment for teaching, learning, and research.

He emphasized that quality infrastructure remains essential to achieving excellence in teaching, promoting research and innovation, and supporting the holistic development of students. He added that the University would continue to prioritize the maintenance and upgrade of its facilities.

Prof. Oladipo described the renovated buildings as a key part of TASFUED's vision to build a modern institution that supports quality education, digital innovation, research excellence, and student success.

Expressing satisfaction with the progress of the projects, he said the upgraded facilities would enhance students' learning experience while providing a better working environment for staff.

The Vice-Chancellor assured returning students of an improved campus environment and encouraged prospective students to choose TASFUED for quality university education.

He noted that the University remains committed to providing excellent academic programmes, modern facilities, experienced lecturers, and opportunities that equip students with the knowledge, skills, and values required to compete in a rapidly evolving global environment.

Prof. Oladipo also expressed appreciation to the Federal Government and the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) for their continued support in developing the University through investments in critical infrastructure. He said the interventions have significantly strengthened TASFUED's position as a leading institution for teacher education and academic excellence in Nigeria.

He further assured parents and guardians that the University remains committed to providing a safe, conducive, and student-friendly environment where students can excel academically and develop the competencies needed for future success.

The Vice-Chancellor reiterated the Management's commitment to continuously monitor ongoing projects, maintain existing facilities, and implement initiatives that enhance teaching, learning, and research across the University.
