UDUS Lecturer Rewards Punctual Students with Cash Prize

Professor Auwal Muhammad Inuwa, a Sociology Lecturer at the Faculty of Education and Extension Services, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS), has rewarded two students with a cash prize of ₦5,000 each for their punctuality.

The reward was presented to the students via Opay transfer on Thursday, February 17, 2025, during the 'EDU 407: Nomadic Education' course at the ETF 3 lecture hall.

One of the beneficiaries, Hauwa Isa, expressed her excitement and gratitude, advising her peers to emulate her punctuality and seriousness.

Professor Inuwa emphasized the importance of punctuality and the strong bond between teachers and students. He noted that tardiness has become a concern, with students arriving late for lectures, and stressed the need for students to wake up early and come to school prepared.

The lecturer's initiative aims to promote good attitudes and a strong work ethic among students, recognizing that punctuality is essential for academic success and personal development.
