UDUS Set To Host 57th Inaugural Lecture

Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) is set to host its 57th inaugural lecture, featuring Professor Muhammad Garba Mahuta, a renowned Professor of Sociology Education.

The lecture, titled "Social Exclusion And Educational Inequality in Nigeria: Revealing The Illusion Of Equality In Universal Basic Education," will take place on November 20, 2025, at 4:15 PM at the University auditorium.

Professor Mahuta, who is currently the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) at UDUS, is expected to shed light on the pressing issues of social exclusion and educational inequality in Nigeria's Universal Basic Education system. With over 35 years of teaching, research, and supervision experience, Professor Mahuta is well-equipped to address this critical topic.
