VC Leads FUNATO Team to NBRRI for Research Collaboration

The Vice-Chancellor of Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO), Prof. O.J. Babayemi, on Wednesday, 14th October 2026, led a six-person delegation to the Director General/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI), Engr. Prof. Samson Duna, at the Institute's head office in Abuja.
The delegation comprised the Dean, College of Engineering and Technology; Deputy Dean, College of Engineering and Technology; Director, Academic Planning; Director, Research and Innovation; and Director, Information and Communication Technology.
The visit was to explore possible collaboration between FUNATO and NBRRI in areas including research and development, staff and students industrial training, special laboratory and workshop equipment intervention, research product exhibition, consultancy services, and research and innovation conferences.
The meeting was described as positive and promising for future actualisation.
