Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic Announces Academic Amnesty Program for Spill-over Students

The Management of Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic (UASPOLY), Sokoto, has officially launched an Amnesty Program aimed at assisting former students who were unable to complete their graduation requirements.

The program is specifically designed for students who faced academic challenges or had outstanding issues preventing their graduation during the academic sessions spanning from 2002/2003 to 2019/2020. This initiative offers a "final window" for eligible candidates to resolve their deficiencies and obtain their diplomas. 

To participate in the program, interested and qualified candidates are required to:

Visit the Institution: Report directly to the permanent site of the polytechnic in Sokoto.

Consult the Coordinator: Locate the Office of the Amnesty Program Coordinator for detailed briefing and clearance.

Form Collection: Obtain and complete the official application forms as stipulated by the academic board.

This move by UASPOLY highlights a growing trend among Nigerian polytechnics to clear backlogs of ungraduated students, ensuring that those who have spent years in the system have a structured path to earning their qualifications.
