UNIABUJA Vice-Chancellor Professor Fawehinmi Visits FCT Traditional Rulers to Strengthen Community Ties

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA), Professor Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi, has embarked on a series of courtesy visits to prominent traditional rulers across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The visits, conducted on January 7, 2026, were aimed at reinforcing the partnership between the University and its various host communities.

Professor Fawehinmi assured the leaders that their requests would be looked into, stressing that sustained cooperation is essential for the mutual growth of both the University and the Federal Capital Territory.

The engagement marks a significant step in Professor Fawehinmi’s administration as he seeks to align the University’s strategic goals with the expectations of its host communities in 2026.
