The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has announced the cancellation of its Post-UTME aptitude test for the 2025/2026 admission exercise.

In a statement signed by the Registrar, Dr. (Mrs.) Chukwuka I. Icha, the institution confirmed that its Post-UTME registration portal has officially closed and that the decision to cancel the test was taken to ease the travel challenges candidates might face in coming to the university for the screening.

Instead of the test, UNICAL will screen prospective candidates using their O’Level results through the Point Tally System.
