UNILAG Announces 18th Inaugural Lecture

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced that Professor Olufunke Asake Adeboye of the Department of History and Strategic Studies, Faculty of Arts, will deliver the University's 18th Inaugural Lecture for the 2025/2026 Academic Session on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

UNILAG Announces 18th Inaugural Lecture

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced that Professor Olufunke Asake Adeboye of the Department of History and Strategic Studies, Faculty of Arts, will deliver the University's 18th Inaugural Lecture for the 2025/2026 Academic Session on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

The lecture, titled "The Secular, The Sacred, and The Space In Between," is scheduled to commence at 4:00 p.m. at the J.F. Ade. Ajayi Auditorium, UNILAG, Akoka, with guests expected to be seated by 3:45 p.m.

The event will be chaired by the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Folasade T. Ogunsola, OON, FAS.

Members of the University community and the general public have been invited to attend the lecture either physically or virtually.
