UNILAG Faculty of Education Announces 2025/2026 Teaching Practice Orientation Programme

The Faculty of Education, University of Lagos (UNILAG) will host its 2025/2026 Teaching Practice Orientation Programme on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, starting at 10:00 a.m. at the Jelili Omotola (Multipurpose) Hall B, UNILAG.

The theme for this year’s orientation is: “The Teaching Profession in the 21st Century: Between Theoretical Studies and Practical Realities.” The programme officially marks the commencement of the annual teaching practice exercise for 400-level students of the Faculty of Education.

A total of 2,170 student-teachers are expected to participate in the 12-week teaching practice programme, gaining hands-on experience to complement their theoretical studies and prepare them for professional teaching careers.
