UNILORIN VC Appreciates Guests at Son’s Wedding

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, has expressed appreciation to all those who graced the wedding ceremony of his children, Abduljelil and Zainab, which took place on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
Prof. Egbewole appreciated members of the Governing Council, Principal Officers, members of Senate, Provosts and Deans, Directors, Deputy Directors, Heads of Departments and units, as well as members of staff and students of the University of Ilorin, for the support extended to him and his family.
He also appreciated his colleague Vice-Chancellors in general and members of the KU8+ Consortium in particular, Chief Executives of various agencies, and proprietors and founders of various private universities, for making time out of their busy schedules to attend the event.
According to him, those whose presence added colour to the event included functionaries of Governments from across Nigeria, Lordships from various judicial divisions and learned Senior Advocates of Nigeria and other legal practitioners, the President and members of the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union, the Chief Imam of Ile-Ife and other dignitaries from the Source.
He said they had all demonstrated their love for his family.
He also appreciated other lovers and well-wishers too numerous to mention for their contributions to the success of the event and prayed God to love them in return.
