UNIMAID Mandates Use of Official Logo, Rejects Memos with Unofficial Branding

The University of Maiduguri has directed all staff, students, and members of the university community to strictly adhere to the use of the institution’s official logo on all documents.  

In an internal circular issued by the Office of the Registrar and signed by the Public Relations Officer, Amina Abdullahi, the university expressed concern that despite previous directives and sensitization, some departments and units continue to use an unofficial logo on official correspondence.

According to the circular, Management will henceforth not consider any memo or official correspondence bearing the unofficial logo.  

All academic and administrative staff have been strictly advised to update their letterheads and official templates immediately to reflect the university’s true brand identity.

“A copy of the official logo has been attached for your use,” the circular stated.  

The directive underscores the university’s commitment to maintaining a consistent brand identity and ensuring uniformity in all official communications across the institution.
