UNIMAID VC Provides School Uniforms to 63 Vulnerable Pupils

Speaking at the event, Professor Mele, a strong advocate for girl-child education, urged the pupils to stay focused on their studies despite personal and social challenges. The initiative specifically targeted the most disadvantaged learners, with 38 girls and 25 boys receiving new uniforms.
“Education is the key to achieving your dreams. Take this opportunity seriously and work hard in your studies,” he advised.
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Central Administration), Professor Babagana Bako, echoed the Vice-Chancellor’s message, encouraging the students to see the support as motivation to excel academically.
The Headmistress of the school, Hajiya Abu Musa, expressed gratitude for the timely gesture, while beneficiaries such as 14-year-old Muhammad Musa (Primary 4) and 12-year-old Halima Adamu (Primary 6) described the uniforms as giving them renewed confidence and dignity in their learning environment.
