Universal Laboratory, UCH Hosts End-Of-Year Party

The Universal Laboratory of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, hosted its end-of-the-year party on December 13, 2025.

Speaking at the event, the Head of Department, Dr. Richard Akpan, stated that the gathering was organized to appreciate staff for a job well done and to recognise deserving members who distinguished themselves across various units of the Department through outstanding performance and commitment.

In his address, the Chief Medical Director of UCH, Professor Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, commended the Universal Laboratory for delivering accurate, consistent, and reliable laboratory services to the UCH community and beyond.

Professor Otegbayo described the Department as a key revenue driver for the institution, urging staff to sustain their culture of excellence. He further assured the Department of the continuous support of hospital management.
