The University of Abuja (UNABUJA) has alerted the public and its community to the presence of fraudulent Facebook accounts falsely claiming to represent the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi.
The university clarified that the following accounts, among others, are not official profiles of the Vice-Chancellor:

UNABUJA cautioned members of the public and university community to disregard these accounts and any other social media profiles claiming affiliation with the Vice-Chancellor, noting that they were created to mislead and potentially defraud unsuspecting individuals.
The university urged everyone to rely only on verified official communication channels for authentic information and announcements.
Suspicious activity can be reported directly to the Directorate of Information and University Relations via info@uniabuja.edu.ng.
The University reiterated its commitment to protecting its community from online fraud and ensuring transparency in official communications.
