University of Abuja Issues Warning on Fake Facebook Accounts Impersonating Vice-Chancellor

The University of Abuja (UNABUJA) has alerted the public and its community to the presence of fraudulent Facebook accounts falsely claiming to represent the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi.

The University of Abuja (UNABUJA) has alerted the public and its community to the presence of fraudulent Facebook accounts falsely claiming to represent the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi.

The university clarified that the following accounts, among others, are not official profiles of the Vice-Chancellor:

UNABUJA cautioned members of the public and university community to disregard these accounts and any other social media profiles claiming affiliation with the Vice-Chancellor, noting that they were created to mislead and potentially defraud unsuspecting individuals.

The university urged everyone to rely only on verified official communication channels for authentic information and announcements.
