University of Maiduguri Vice-Chancellor Honored with Award of Excellence for Leadership and Governance

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), Professor Muhammed Laminu Mele, has been honored with a prestigious Award of Excellence by the Coalition of Civil Society Organisations in Nigeria (COCSON).

The award was presented on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the Muhammadu Buhari Senate Building.
