University of Port Harcourt Students Mourn Loss of Colleague, Miss Zalmon Beatrice

University of Port Harcourt Students Mourn Loss of Colleague, Miss Zalmon Beatrice

The University of Port Harcourt community is in mourning following the tragic death of Miss Zalmon Beatrice Ebirien, a Pre-degree and Certificate student, who lost her life in a ghastly motor accident at Rumuokoro.

Another student from the Department of Economics, a 300-level student, also succumbed to injuries in the same accident.

In a show of solidarity and respect, students held a solemn funeral procession to honor their late colleague. Vice-Chancellor Professor Owunari Abraham Georgewill addressed the grieving students, urging them to find comfort in cherished memories and the strength of the Uniport community.
