UNIZIK VC Receives Pioneer Dean of Faculty of Communication and Media Studies

The Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, has received the newly elected Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, Prof. Allen Adum.

The meeting provided an opportunity for the Vice-Chancellor to formally receive Prof. Adum following his emergence as the pioneer Dean of the newly established faculty.

As part of the university’s support for the effective administration of the faculty, Prof. Anyaehie presented Prof. Adum with his official vehicle for the discharge of his responsibilities as Dean.

The Vice-Chancellor congratulated Prof. Adum on his election and expressed confidence in his ability to provide effective leadership as the faculty begins a new phase of its development.

Prof. Adum, a Professor in the Department of Development Communication, was recently elected as the pioneer Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies during an election held at the university.

The Faculty of Communication and Media Studies is among the emerging faculties established under the administration of Prof. Anyaehie, reflecting the university’s efforts to strengthen communication and media education.
