UNIZIK VC Tours Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company, Strengthens Industry Partnerships

In a strategic move to advance infrastructure and foster industry collaborations, the Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, led a management team on a facility tour of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company in Nnewi on Friday, 20th February 2026.

The CEO of Innoson, Chief Innocent Chukwuma (Ifediaso Nnewi), personally guided the Vice-Chancellor and his delegation through the manufacturing operations, expressing readiness to support UNIZIK in achieving its vision for infrastructural growth and development.

The Vice-Chancellor’s team included Ag. DVC Prof. Hilda Osisioma, Prof. Pius Okoye, Governing Council member Prof. Stella Anasi, University Librarian Prof. Kingsley Ubaoji, the Dean of Student Affairs, University Chief Safety Officer Chief Ken Chukwurah, and Ag. PRO Mr. Njelita Louis, among others. Representatives of the Bank of Industry, who recently handed over a 30-bedroom student hostel at the College of Health Sciences, Nnewi, also attended.

The visit underscores UNIZIK’s commitment to building strategic industry partnerships aimed at boosting innovation, infrastructure, and the overall institutional development of the University.
