Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto to Induct 43 New Nurses

Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto is set to induct 43 new nurses into the nursing profession at its 6th Nursing Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony.

The ceremony, scheduled for April 23, 2025, at the University Auditorium, will be led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Bashir Garba, and chaired by the Commissioner of Health, Sokoto State, Dr. Faruk Umar Abubakar.

The Sultan of Sokoto, Alh. Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, will be the Royal Father of the Day. The event will bring together top university officials, special guests, family, friends, and well-wishers to witness the new nurses take their professional oath.
