VCO Team Presents Trophy to FUNAAB VC After Emerging Overall Best at 2025 Staff Unity Games

The Office of the Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), on July 23, 2025, proudly presented their trophy and medals to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, following their emergence as the Overall Best Team at the 2025 FUNAAB Staff Unity Games.

The team clinched three gold medals and one silver medal across multiple events, securing the top spot in the highly competitive interdepartmental sporting event. Their remarkable performance exemplified the core values of unity, teamwork, and excellence that the annual Games seek to promote among staff members.

While receiving the trophy, the Vice-Chancellor congratulated the team on their outstanding achievement and commended their passion, resilience, and sportsmanship. He pledged continued support for sporting activities and initiatives that promote wellness and foster stronger bonds within the University Community.

Meanwhile, members of Group 15, which included the Bursary, Audit, UMFB (UNAAB Microfinance Bank), Public Relations, FUNAAB Radio, and FUNAAB Integrated Ventures, paid courtesy and appreciation visits to key officers such as the Bursar, Mr. Olukayode Osinuga and others, in recognition of the support and motivation that contributed to the team's success, including clinching Gold in Football.
