Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic Holds NYSC Sensitization Workshop for HND II Students

Final-year Higher National Diploma (HND II) students of Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi, participated in a sensitization workshop focused on National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)-related matters.

The workshop was organised to educate prospective corps members on the NYSC mobilisation process, registration requirements, documentation, eligibility criteria, and other important guidelines necessary for a successful mobilisation.

Officials at the programme also addressed common challenges faced by graduating students during the NYSC registration process and advised participants on the steps required to avoid delays or disqualification.

Students were encouraged to ensure that their academic records and personal information were accurate and up to date, while taking advantage of the opportunity to seek clarification on issues relating to NYSC mobilisation.

The sensitization programme formed part of the institution's efforts to adequately prepare final-year students for life after graduation and ensure a seamless transition into the National Youth Service Corps scheme.
