Yobe State University Students Issue Urgent Appeal Over Unpaid Scholarship Funds

The student body of Yobe State University (YSU) has issued an urgent public notice expressing deep concern over the protracted delay in the disbursement of the Domestic Scholarship Fund.

In a formal appeal to the state government and relevant scholarship boards, the students highlighted that despite multiple administrative follow-ups and previous pleas, the funds remain unpaid. The delay is reportedly causing severe financial hardship for a significant portion of the student population, many of whom rely on these bursaries for tuition and basic upkeep.
