The State Coordinator, National Health Insurance Authority, NHIA Osun State, Mr. Oyawore Biodun has enlightened the 2022 Batch B Stream 2 Corps Members on the Federal Government Health Insurance policy for members of the Scheme.

Oyawore during the sensitization at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede on Thursday, informed the Corps Members that their healthcare is Insured by the Federal Government from the point of their call-up as Prospective Corps Members through their service year.
He further intimated Corps Members that the emergence of the Health Care Insurance for Corps Members was as a result of the Federal Government's proactiveness to quell difficult situations and provide every member an opportunity to access proper medical care throughout their one-year service.
Oyawore also enlightened the Members on the benefits that abounds through the Healthcare Insurance Scheme, saying that Corps Members will enjoy free medical care and its equivalent.
On membership and eligibility, he said recipients of the Scheme must first be mobilised and report for service, and their call-up number stands as proof.
He further enjoined the Corps members to check out the Health Maintenance Organisation, HMO they can go to within the State, and also gave out hotlines in cases of further clarification.
