Zamfara State University (ZAMSU) Announces Update on NERD Clearance for 2025 Batch ‘C’ Graduates

Zamfara State University (ZAMSU), Talata Mafara, has issued an important notice to all graduating students and Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) regarding the Nigeria Education Repository and Databank (NERD) policy.

The university management received official communication from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Headquarters in Abuja concerning the enforcement of NERD clearance for the upcoming 2025 Batch ‘C’ mobilisation. According to the NYSC, following directives from the NERD Secretariat, NERD clearance will not be enforced for this batch of corps members.

This update allows ZAMSU graduates participating in the 2025 Batch ‘C’ NYSC mobilisation to proceed with their registration without needing NERD compliance at this stage. The NYSC has indicated that the NERD system will be fully implemented for subsequent batches once all necessary processes are finalised.
