The West African Gas Pipeline Company Limited (WAPCo) has disbursed a total of N47,414,160 in scholarship funds to 54 students of Lagos State University (LASU) for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The scholarship, an annual initiative by WAPCo, is designed to support high-performing students from host communities and diverse backgrounds. The grant covers tuition fees, textbooks, and other essential study-related expenses.

Financial Breakdown

The total sum of N47.4 million was released in four strategic tranches to ensure comprehensive coverage for all awardees:

Tranche 2: N15,804,720

Tranche 3: N2,634,120

Tranche 4: N5,268,240
