ABSU Schedules 44th Matriculation Ceremony for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The Management of Abia State University (ABSU) has officially announced the 44th Matriculation Ceremony for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The event will formally induct newly admitted students into the University.

Matriculation Details:

• Date: Friday, 27th February 2026
• Time: 11:00 AM
• Venue: University Pavilion, ABSU, Uturu

Eligible Participants:

• Postgraduate students who are not graduates of ABSU
• First-year Undergraduate students of the Regular and Institute for Continuing Education (ICE) who have completed school fee payment
• Other duly admitted and cleared students who, for valid reasons, could not matriculate in their original year of admission

Matriculation Requirements:

• Students must rent the official Matriculation regalia (gown and cap) and Brochure at a cost of ₦15,000.
• Payment should be made at the ABSU Micro-Finance Bank, Uturu, on or before Tuesday, 24th February 2026.
• Issuance of matriculation materials will commence Wednesday, 25th February 2026.

Important Notes:

• Attendance at the Matriculation Ceremony is compulsory for all eligible fresh students.
• Only bonafide students who have accepted their offer of admission, paid all required fees, and registered their courses will be allowed to participate.
