Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Concludes 2024/2025 SIWES Programme

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has officially announced the conclusion of the 2024/2025 Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) programme.

The Industrial Training and Coordinating Unit (ITCU), through Deputy Registrar Yahuza Haruna Gital, issued the notice on November 21, 2025, directing students to begin winding down their industrial training activities.

The notice instructs all participating students to submit their logbooks, ITF Form 8, and biodata forms to their departmental SIWES coordinators within two weeks of resumption. Students are also expected to commence writing their SIWES reports in line with university guidelines and prepare for the SIWES defence, where they will present and explain their industrial training experiences.

The ITCU commended the students for their productivity, dedication, and discipline during the programme, noting that several organizations have expressed interest in some participants due to their performance. The Unit further congratulated the students on progressing to their final year in the upcoming academic session, describing it as a key milestone in their academic journey.
