A-LEVEL ROUTE REQUIREMENT

• Candidates must have passed at advanced level in Chemistry, Biology (or Zoology) and Physics at one sitting in a senate-recognized (international or national) examination.
• Total points must not be less than 10 (A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1).

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION

A. UTME CANDIDATES

• Minimum UTME score of 150 (as approved by JAMB).
• Five credit passes in WAEC/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB at not more than two sittings (one sitting for MBBS).
• Must include English Language, Mathematics, and three relevant subjects.

B. DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES
(i) Direct Entry into 200 Level

• Five O’Level credits as above.
• Two A-Level passes in IJMB, JUPEB or equivalent OR ND, NCE, ATS in relevant fields.
• Must have JAMB Direct Entry registration.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

1. DIRECT ENTRY MBBS PROGRAMME

• Five-year programme via A-Level or Bachelor’s degree entry into 200 level.
• A-Level requirement: Chemistry, Biology (or Zoology), Physics with minimum 10 points (A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1).
• Bachelor’s degree route: First Class or Second Class Upper in relevant biomedical sciences from Achievers University or any recognized institution.
• O’Level requirement: Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics at one sitting (WAEC/NECO).
• Admission is subject to available space; meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.

2. BACHELOR OF NURSING SCIENCE (B.NSc.)

• Two A-Level passes in Biology/Zoology and Chemistry or Physics OR
• RN Certificate of Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria OR
• B.Sc. (minimum Second Class Lower) in Biological/Health Sciences.

3. BACHELOR OF MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE (B.MLS)

• Two A-Level passes in Biology/Zoology and Chemistry or Physics OR
• MLSCN Technician Diploma OR
• B.Sc. (minimum Second Class Lower) in Biological Sciences.

4. B.ENG. PROGRAMMES

• Two A-Level passes including Mathematics and Physics OR
• National Diploma (Upper Credit) in Engineering.

5. LL.B. PROGRAMME

• Two A-Level passes in HSC, GCE, IJMB or JUPEB OR
• Acceptable Bachelor’s degree.
• O’Level credit in Literature in English is compulsory.

6. DIRECT ENTRY INTO 300 LEVEL

• HND in relevant disciplines.
• Acceptable HND combinations include:
  • Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics → Computer Science
  • Computer Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering → Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering → Civil Engineering
  • Mechanical/Mechatronics/Metallurgical & Materials/Agricultural Engineering → Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering
• Professional certificates (ACCA, ACIB, ACIS, ACIN, ACIT) accepted for Accounting and Business Administration.
