University of Offa Announces 1st Inaugural Lecture
The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Offa, Professor Kazeem Alagbe Gbolagade, FNCS, FCILG, FPAN, has invited members of the public to the institution’s 1st inaugural lecture scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at the University Auditorium.

The lecture is titled “Communicating Development, Creating Wealth: Nigerian Media, Entrepreneurship, Innovation and National Growth.”
It will be delivered by Professor Adegoke Akeem Raufu, ARPA, ANIPR, FSL, FCAI, a Professor of Communication and Rector of D.S. Adegbenro ICT Polytechnic, Itori, Ewekoro, Ogun State.
According to the university, the inaugural lecture represents a major academic milestone and reflects its commitment to promoting intellectual engagement, research excellence, and knowledge-driven development.

The institution noted that the event will bring together academics, media professionals, policymakers, entrepreneurs, students, and other stakeholders to explore the role of media, entrepreneurship, and innovation in national development.
