Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has reiterated his commitment to ensuring the continued growth and excellence of Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola. He made this pledge during a meeting with the university’s Governing Council and management team at the Government House, Yola.

Highlighting the university’s importance to Adamawa State, Governor Fintiri emphasized the institution’s role in providing opportunities for indigenous students and staff. He stated, “If we allow the university to fail, it is the state that is going to fail, and if we support the university to succeed, it will benefit our children and students.”

The Governor outlined the State Government’s various interventions in federal institutions across the state, including MAU. He expressed confidence in the university’s leadership and promised to maintain synergy in addressing their challenges.
