ADSU Strengthens Ties with Adamawa Ministry of Agriculture

Adamawa State University (ADSU) has taken a significant step towards enhancing agricultural development and ensuring food security in Adamawa State.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Augustine Clement, led a high-level management team on a courtesy visit to the Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture, Professor F.D. Jatau.

The visit aimed to foster collaboration on food security initiatives and seek support for vital farm inputs. Professor Clement highlighted the university's potential to serve as a research hub, supporting state policies and community farming programs.

The Ministry has expressed willingness to collaborate, acknowledging the importance of academic partnerships in driving agricultural innovation. This partnership is expected to leverage ADSU's research capabilities and the Ministry's policy framework to promote sustainable agriculture and contribute to the state's economic development.
