ADUSTECH VC Hosts Yakasai Zumunta Caretaker Committee, Pledges Stronger Collaboration for Community Development

The Vice-Chancellor of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, ADUSTECH, Wudil, Prof. Musa Tukur Yakasai, on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, received the Caretaker Committee of Yakasai Zumunta on a courtesy visit to his office.  

The delegation was led by the Committee Chairman, Alhaji Sadisu Abubakar Yakasai.  

Discussions during the visit centred on fostering strategic collaboration between Yakasai Zumunta and ADUSTECH Wudil to address societal challenges through education, research, community engagement, and sustainable development.  

Prof. Yakasai reaffirmed the University’s commitment to building productive partnerships with community-based organizations and stakeholders whose objectives align with ADUSTECH’s vision of promoting academic excellence, innovation, and community service.  

He noted that stronger collaboration would create opportunities to develop practical solutions to social challenges, enhance youth empowerment, and contribute to the development of Kano State and Nigeria at large.  

Earlier, Alhaji Yakasai expressed appreciation for the warm reception and commended the progress being recorded under the Vice-Chancellor’s leadership. He reiterated the Committee’s readiness to work closely with ADUSTECH Wudil to advance initiatives that will positively impact society.  

The meeting ended with a joint commitment to sustain dialogue and explore areas of mutual interest for the benefit of the University community and the wider society.
