Ahmadu Bello University Announces Resit Examination Schedule, Approves Resumption Date for 2024/2025 Academic Session

The Senate of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) has approved the schedule for the 2023/2024 resit examinations, which will take place from November 4th to 9th, 2024.

Registration for the resit examinations will commence on October 21st and end on October 26th, 2024, with a fee of N10,000 and a charge of N5,000 per course.

Additionally, the Senate has fixed December 9th, 2024, as the resumption date for the First Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Session.

The Senate also approved the extension of the resit examination policy to all 300-level pre-clinical courses of the College of Medical Sciences and the mounting of the Master of Laws (LLM) program in the Faculty of Law for the Nigerian Army School of Legal Studies (NASL), Zaria.

Furthermore, the Senate approved revised admission requirements for various undergraduate degree programs, effective from the 2025/2026 academic session.

The University congratulated 22 staff members promoted to the rank of Professor and 26 others to the rank of Reader/Principal Research Fellow/Deputy University Librarian, following positive external assessor's reports.

The Senate also commended the Faculty adviser and members of the Entrepreneurial Action Us (ENACTUS) team for winning the 2nd position in the 2024 National Competition.
