AKSCONS Opens Registration for 2026 Post-Basic Psychiatric Nursing Programme

The Akwa Ibom State College of Nursing Sciences (AKSCONS), Ikot Ekpene, has announced the commencement of registration for admission into its Post Basic Psychiatric Nursing Programme for the 2026 academic session.

According to a statement issued by the Registrar, Mr. Philip I. Eduok, the registration period will run from Monday, 9th February 2026, to Friday, 20th March 2026, and will take place at the College premises in Ikot Ekpene. Registration is scheduled daily from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

Prospective candidates are required to present two photocopies of the following during registration:

• Professional Certificate: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Educational Certificates: FSLC, WASC, SSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB with at least five (5) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology obtained in no more than two sittings
• Testimonial from the last professional school attended
• Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
• Change of Name Document (if applicable)
• Certificate of Origin
• Two recent passport photographs with red background
