Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) has released the approved convocation fees for graduands participating in the combined 6th to 12th Convocation Ceremonies, scheduled for Saturday, 28th February 2026.
In an official notice dated 6th February 2026, the Office of the Registrar stated that the fees apply to all graduands taking part in the forthcoming event.
This category covers Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), Master’s Degrees (M.Sc, M.A, M.Ed, M.Eng, etc.), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D).
- With Academic Gown: ₦150,000
- Without Academic Gown: ₦85,000
Undergraduate Programmes
- Convocation Fee: ₦45,000
Graduands who had previously paid ₦15,000 as part of convocation fees are required to pay only the balance of the newly approved rate applicable to their category.
Evidence of payment will be mandatory for clearance and the issuance of convocation materials. Details regarding payment procedures, deadlines, and collection of academic gowns will be communicated in due course. Graduands are advised to comply accordingly.
