Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic Issues Notice on Election of Class Representatives

The Management of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua has directed that all elections into the position of class representatives and the assistant should be directed by the Heads of Departments and supervised by the Students' Advisers of the respective departments.

Only registered students with unquestionable integrity are eligible to contest and serve as class representatives.

All appointments made or elections conducted into such positions before the date of the issuance of this circular are hereby cancelled. Any class representative caught involved in any form of misconduct shall immediately be suspended from office.

NOTE: Any student who has served as a class representative before in ND is NOT eligible to contest and only registered students (those who have handled all documentations at their respective departments) are permitted to participate in this exercise (election). Appointments of course representatives by individual lecturers are hereby banned forthwith.
